The Belize City Council has announced that City Administrator Albert Vaughan will be stepping down from his role effective October 31, 2025. Vaughan, who served with dedication and professionalism, is leaving for personal reasons.

According to a press release, during his tenure, Vaughan played a key role in strengthening the Council’s operations and advancing initiatives aimed at improving the lives of Belize City residents. The council said his leadership has been recognised as instrumental in driving progress across various departments.

The Council expressed its gratitude to Vaughan for his contributions and extended best wishes for his future endeavours.

As part of the transition, the Council will soon begin the search for a new City Administrator. The position will be advertised in the coming days, and qualified individuals are encouraged to apply.
