Belize City Woman Wins $20,000 Scratch and Win Prize

Tonight, a Belize City resident is celebrating a twenty-thousand-dollar Scratch and Win prize. The lucky winner bought her ticket from Twins Supermarket. We spoke with her today about the winnings and her plans for it. Here is what she told us.

“I just did a random shopping at Twins Supermarket and decided to pick up two tickets.”

“I understand you bought the winning tickets last week and did not scratch it on Sunday.”

“No I bought it last week on Sunday and decided to scratch it to see if I won anything. And surprisingly I did.”

“What was that feeling like? How did you know you won, what was that feeling?”

“I saw the times ten on the thousand two times and I had to triple look to make sure and I felt excited. I ams till shocked, but it is a good feeling.”

“What are your plans?”

“I don’t have any plans at this moment, but maybe take a vacation, a mini vacation, a weekend getaway and we see where we go from there.”

“I play it often, but win often, like a two dollars, a five dollars, but this is a first time.”
