“And what the end of today’s meeting what is one thing you wish can be accomplished and ironed out?”
Prime Minister John Briceño
“Well, there are many opportunities. As you know, trade continues to something that we are pushing, trade with Mexico and Guatemala trying to open up markets for our products. That is high on the agenda, but also this biosphere park between Belize, Mexico and Guatemala, that is one of the most important things we can accomplish today. It is considered the second largest reserve, beside the Amazon, coming this way. This area is an area where we have millions of Belizeans Guatemalan and Mexicans living and the importance of this here, it is very important for us to be able to protect it, considering the challenges of climate change.”
