Bella Vista Home Invasion Leaves Father Dead

Tonight, a little girl, not even two years old, is now without her father, and her mother is fighting for her life. The family was at their home in Bella Vista Village when they were attacked just after two in the morning on Saturday. Police say the gunman entered their home and opened fire at twenty-four-year-old Narjin Ceron and his partner, Nickey Logan. Ceron was fatally shot, and Logan was also struck multiple times as she shielded her toddler from the barrage of shots.

Behind me is the home where young father Narjin Ceron and his partner Nickey Logan were shot. The couple had their 1-year-and-nine-month-old toddler with them when a male gunman entered the rented house and unleashed a barrage of bullets just after two o’clock on Saturday. Ceron died instantly, while Logan suffered six gunshot wounds as she protected her baby.

“On Saturday, the sixth day of September 2025, police responded to a shooting in Bella Vista. Upon the arrival they saw the lifeless body of a male person identified as Narjin Ceron, and also a female, Nickey Logan, was seen with gunshot injuries. Nickey Logan was taken for treatment, and she’s presently admitted in a stable condition. Investigation reveals that both were in their house at Bella Vista when a male person entered with a firearm and fired several shots towards him, causing the fatal injuries to Ceron and the injuries to Logan.”

 

The community is now shocked that a family was targeted in such a violent manner. One neighbor, who saw Ceron grow up in the village, describes the young father as hardworking but also pointed out that he was not quite the model citizen.

“He’s a nice person; he’s a smiling person, but he’s serious with the work he does. The first thing that the people say is that he’s too aggressive, and he deals with the people too harsh, and he beats them, and he likes to fight with the police, and maybe that’s why they killed him. I believe somebody come kill him because he was doing mischievousness.”

Was this young self-employed father targeted? Police confirmed that Ceron had conflicts with persons in the village that may have led to his murder.

“The information we gathered is that he had rivals with other persons in the village, and that is what led to this shooting. We are seeking one person from Bella Vista in regard to this murder investigation.”

 

Relatives of Nickey Logan told us they are focused solely on her recovery at the Southern Regional Hospital. They are leaving the investigation in the hands of the authorities. Meanwhile, Bella Vista residents are concerned about the rising violence in the village and are pleading with the authorities to strengthen the security measures in their community.

“We need more security, more investigation, and in-depth investigations because if it’s not done, people will start seeing the police didn’t do anything or the investigation didn’t go anywhere and will start feeling like they can get away with anything.”
