BREAKING: BLC Leader Shot at in Belize City

Gunfire erupted on Coney Drive in Belize City moments ago, with nearly 30 shots fired at reputed gang figure Jahreem “32” Staine.

Despite the barrage, police confirmed Staine walked away unharmed.

Authorities are processing the scene, where about 28 expended shells were recovered.

Staine, known as the leader of the Backa Lands Crips (BLC), has been at the centre of legal troubles this year.

In June, he and Eric Frazer were charged with attempted murder after the shooting of Jimmy Rojas on May 3. Rojas, once accused of murder but later cleared due to lack of evidence, was working at the corner of Tibruce Street and Croton Lane when a gunman opened fire from a tinted Mercedes.

Rojas survived the attack.
