A brazen weekend shooting in Belize City has left a young man injured and his family shaken. It happened Friday night in the Jane Usher area, just as twenty-year-old Alonzo Myers was arriving home. Moments after stepping into his gated yard, two men appeared, one of them opening fire from the street, shooting over the gate. Surveillance footage captures the terrifying moment Myers is hit and falls to the ground, before struggling to get back up and run for cover as the gunmen flee. Tonight, police are investigating what led to this attack and trying to determine who wanted him hurt, and why.
