Caye Caulker Police Find 23 Parcels of “Suspected Cocaine”

Police in coastal Belize have confirmed the discovery of twenty-three parcels of suspected cocaine during an early-morning operation on Thursday.

Authorities say the find was made around 7:00 a.m. when officers on Caye Caulker discovered a large plastic bag on the seabed containing the parcels, which together weighed 64.2 pounds.

Police said the items have been labelled as found property as investigations continue.
