CCC Marching Band Crowned Central American Champions

The Corozal Community College Marching Band (CCCMB) has been crowned Central American champions after winning first place in the marching band category at the Federación Nacional de Bandas Musicales de Guatemala on Saturday.

The band outperformed groups from across the region, including Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras and Costa Rica. Their category included competitors such as the Cetach Marching Band, the Fenix Marching Band, the Jaguares Marching Band and the Romulo Marching Band.

In a congratulatory statement on social media, the college praised the young musicians and dancers, stating, “The CCCMB’s performance was awesome, full of energy and one of a kind. Congrats to our very own champs!”
