Christmas Day to Bring Showers and Isolated Thunderstorms

Belizeans can expect a wet but manageable Christmas Day, as the National Meteorological Service forecasts a few showers, periods of rain, and isolated thunderstorms, mainly during the daytime.

Conditions are expected to gradually improve at night, allowing for calmer weather into the evening hours. Winds will blow from the east to east-northeast at 5 to 15 knots.

On Christmas Day, coastal areas will see daytime highs near 82°F with nighttime lows around 75°F. Inland temperatures will reach up to 84°F, cooling to about 70°F overnight.

Residents planning outdoor Christmas activities are advised to keep an eye on the skies and remain alert for brief heavy showers or thunderstorms, especially earlier in the day.
