Corozal Launches Free Digital Skills Bootcamp
The Ministry of Investment, together with the Corozal Think Tank, has officially launched a cutting-edge training program designed to boost global digital skills right here at home. It’s called the Advanced Technology Training Program, and it’s all about digital marketing, e-commerce, and Customer Relationship Management administration. This initiative is part of a bigger push to diversify Corozal’s economy and create sustainable jobs in high-demand tech fields. The training, provided by RHICS Ltd. from London and hosted by Ariston Marketing in Corozal Town, will run for six weeks. Participants will dive into everything from social media campaigns and search engine optimization to e-commerce platforms and Customer Relationship Management automation. It’s completely free for working-age individuals, including students from high school, junior college, and university, as well as teachers. The program kicks off with an intensive bootcamp, followed by online modules and hands-on labs. At the launch event, key leaders were present, including Minister Thea Garcia-Ramirez, CEO Narda Garcia, and other officials who emphasized the importance of building digital skills for Belize’s future.
