You may recall the 2014 murder of sixteen-year-old Wesley Junior College student Chryslin Gladden, who was stabbed multiple times at the Lord Ridge cemetery. Today, eleven years later, two people were found guilty of the crime. They are thirty-four-year-old Clement Bol junior and his girlfriend, Ashley Meighan, who remains at large. While out on bail in November of 2022, Meighan absconded the day her verdict was to be rendered at the High Court, delaying the sentencing for three years. Bol, who was represented by attorney Javier Williams, was handed a life sentence, without the possibility of parole until serving twenty-five years. The couple is accused of luring Gladden to the scene, where she was then viciously stabbed thirty-two times. At his sentencing today, Bol Jr expressed some remorse after he offered condolences to the family of Gladden. While Gladden’s mother was in attendance, her father, Byron Samuels, never made it to see today’s outcome, as he passed away before her trial could conclude.
