“Acting on information received, police visited the Caye Caulker health center where they met with Nicole Robinson, an American National and business woman of Caye Caulker who reported that sometime around three-thirty a.m. she and other friends took a swim in front of Sit and Dip and while in the water she was pounced upon by a crocodile which bit her in the elbow. She was transported for medical attention and she was listed in a stable condition.”
Residents and visitors are being reminded to exercise caution when entering coastal waters, especially during late night hours.
