Darnell Valentine Charged for Cocaine Possession
Police in Orange Walk have charged twenty-four‑year‑old Darnell Valentine for drug possession with intent to supply after he was allegedly caught discarding a bag containing cocaine during a late‑night patrol. According to investigators, the incident unfolded just after midnight on Progress Street, where officers say the suspect attempted to throw away the package as they approached. “Orange Walk Police have formally arrested and charge Darnell Valentine, a twenty-four-year-old labor of Half Moon Caye street, Orange Walk Town for the offense of possession of controlled drugs with intent to supply. The arresting officer reported that at 12:15 a.m. on seventeenth January, 2026, he was on patrol on Progress Street when his attention was drawn to a male person who was observed throwing away a bag. The bag when inspected and weighed was found to contain two-point-two grams of suspected cocaine, consisting of four small packets.”
