Dickie Bradley Points Finger at Police in Budna Case

Attorney Richard ‘Dickie” Bradley has been keeping a close eye on how the investigation into Joseph Budna’s abduction has been unfolding. When we spoke with him today, he said that it is increasingly looking like the police department is involved. Bradley made it clear that he is no defender of Budna, while imploring citizens not to get distracted by Budna’s personality. Bradley contends that there is a much bigger legal issue at play here.

“It is increasingly looking like the police department in our country is involved in the abduction, kidnapping and rendering of a Belizean Citizen to a semi hostile neighbor. All arrows are pointing in that direction. Any other attempt to try and tell people that other people came and kidnap him, which is nonsense, who go kidnap a big strapping noisey person like that front of a police station. The other thing is, maybe it is rogue police officers. That is the biggest issue. we are distracted and distracting ourselves over the personality. He is clearly an unpleasant person to put it mildly. We have to be proud of Belizeans. Nobody is supporting him for what he did and represents. He is a convicted criminal and his conviction is of a terrible kind. So nobody can support that part. But we cannot be distracted over that to say, well he is a dog, carry him, because something far worst would be involved.”
