  1. Picnicking by a quiet creek or river with snacks and blankets with family members.
  2. Birdwatching or nature hiking with that special someone.
  3. Catch up with all the movies you’ve been wanting to watch in a movie marathon with themed Easter treats and home-made food!
  4. Give baking or cooking a chance this long weekend; try Easter-themed recipes. Just don’t forget to buy the ingredients ahead of time!
  5. DIY arts and crafts or Easter egg decorating with family members. This one is great for the kids!
Safety Reminder:

This incoming long weekend will be full of excitement, but safety should always come first.

  • If you’re heading to events, remember not to drink and drive!
  • Plan your transport in advance, use licensed taxis or rideshares, and designate a sober driver if travelling with friends.
  • Keep hydrated and protected from the sun; long hours outdoors can lead to heat exhaustion, especially at beach or riverfront events.
  • Parents should keep a close eye on children during crowded activities and near water.
  • If attending water sports or riverfront festivals, always wear life jackets and avoid swimming alone.
  • Respect traffic rules and pedestrian areas; roads can get congested during peak event hours. Planning ahead and staying alert ensures you can enjoy Belize’s Easter celebrations safely and stress-free.
