Epworth Methodist School Appeals for Back-to-School Support

A new school year is fast approaching, and while some families made the most of the GST-free Back-to-School weekend, others still need help gathering basic school supplies.

Stann Creek’s Epworth Methodist School is calling on the public, former students, and supporters to help the school prepare for the upcoming academic term. “Your help will be invaluable in making the 2025 school year a success for our students,” the school said in a social media statement.

The school is seeking donations of essential items, including water coolers for classrooms, 20 sacks of cement, one load of sand and gravel, and 10 sheets of plywood.

Additional needs include an air fryer, a school mobile phone with a protective case, clocks for classrooms, and eating utensils such as plates, forks, cups, and spoons for students.
