Ex-Convict Released a Year Ago Accused of Double Murder

Harry Nathaniel Trapp, 49, was arrested last Thursday in connection with the December 11, 2025 murders of Sarita deliverymen Raynard Garbutt and Alexander Crawford.

According to Head of the National Crime Investigation Branch ACP Hilberto Romero, Trapp already had a criminal record.

According to records, Trapp was serving a twenty-five-year sentence for manslaughter.

“He was in prison for a very long time,” Romero said. He added that Trapp had been released from prison “probably like a year ago.”

Romero added that the investigation into the double killings continues to rule out any other suspects involved. “If evidence is there for other persons involved, then they will be charged.”

“At this time only the evidence to charge one person, but we are still following on several leads,” he added.
