Final Year in Office: What’s Left on Mayor Wagner’s Agenda?

Belize City Mayor Bernard Wagner has officially entered his final year in office, with several major projects still in motion and others nearing completion.

From road and drainage upgrades to large-scale urban renewal efforts, his administration has overseen many projects that will reach completion after he leaves office.

With twelve months remaining, he says his focus includes the Albert Street bus terminal and the Yabra Fish Market.

Meanwhile, on Tuesday, the Belize City Council also announced that Eluide Miller was unanimously re-elected as Deputy Mayor for the 2026 to 2027 term.
