Fire Guts Abandoned House in Corozal Town

An abandoned two-storey house went up in flames for several minutes before the fire was contained. The structure was located on Sixth Avenue and Second Street South in Corozal Town.

Video footage shows the wooden upper structure engulfed in flames, with firefighters and police arriving to bring the fire under control. The entire structure was destroyed, with extensive damage reported to the lower concrete flat. 

No one was inside the property, and no injuries were reported. Authorities are investigating the cause of the fire.
