Four Years Later, Second Arrest in Elderly Man’s Murder

Sixty-nine-year-old Geoffrey Crawford was abducted from his home in September 2021. The elderly man was assisting a pair of men with jumpstarting their vehicle. Two days after he was taken, Crawford’s body was found inside a shallow grave along a feeder road near Biscayne Village. His stolen vehicle was found fifty yards or so from where his body was recovered. It’s been four years since the tragic incident and police have finally been able to bring a murder charge against another suspect whom they believe participated in the heinous incident. Thirty-one-year-old Patrick Young, a laborer from Dangriga, now joins Maurice Usher, who was arrested and charged in October 2021, as the men investigators believe carried out the senseless act.
