Gunfire on M & J Street Leaves Three Wounded

Police are investigating a shooting in Belize City that left three people injured on Tuesday night, including two teenage boys and a 60‑year‑old woman.

Authorities say the incident occurred around 7:28 p.m. on December 9, 2025, while the victims were standing on M & J Street. A male assailant reportedly fired several shots in their direction, striking all three.

The injured were later identified as two 17‑year‑old male minors and 60‑year‑old Julia Vialto. Police officers responding to information visited the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital, where they found the victims receiving medical attention.

According to investigators, two of the victims were treated and released, while one remains hospitalised in stable condition.

Police have not yet disclosed a motive or identified a suspect.
