Guyana Wins Miss Caribbean Culture Crown for Third Consecutive Year
Shadiamond Assanah of Guyana was crowned Miss Caribbean Culture Queen 2025 in Nevis on Tuesday night. Assanah secured the regional title for her country for the third year in a row.
The regional pageant is part of Nevis’ annual Culturama celebrations. It saw contestants from across the Caribbean compete in various segments, including talent, swimwear, and evening wear.
Standout awards included Best Talent for Miss US Virgin Islands, Best Interview and Best Promotional Video for Miss St Kitts, and Best Swimwear for Miss Antigua and Barbuda. The top five finalists were Miss Guyana, Miss Nevis, Miss Dominica, Miss St Kitts, and Miss Antigua and Barbuda.
Miss Nevis was named first runner-up, and Miss Dominica placed as second runner-up.
Belize was represented by 25-year-old Jahmea Bent, who was born in Los Angeles to Belizean parents. Bent recently won Miss Caribbean Los Angeles 2024, where she topped the talent, fitness, and interview segments.
