Harry Trapp Arrested in Sarita’s Double Murder Breakthrough

There’s a major development in a double‑murder investigation that’s been gripping the public since December eleventh. Police say they’ve made a significant breakthrough, formally arresting and charging forty‑nine‑year‑old Harry Trapp, a man well‑known to law enforcement. Trapp isn’t new to the justice system; he spent more than twenty years behind bars for manslaughter. And you may remember his name from back in 2007, when he made headlines after a police checkpoint intercepted him, along with two other inmates, traveling toward Belize City in the company of a former Deputy Chief of Security from the prison. That incident sparked outrage, a major internal scandal, and fresh charges. Today, Assistant Commissioner of Police Hilberto Romero shared what ultimately led investigators to Trapp in the murders of Raynard Garbutt and Robert Crawford, and whether police believe more suspects are still out there.
