Has the Search for Deborah “Bree” Arthurs Gone Cold?

Forty-eight days have passed since Deborah “Bree” Arthurs was last seen.

The 28-year-old Belize City resident and mother of one was last spotted on Friday, March 27th, near La Popular Bakery, entering a silver Chevy Equinox. She has not been heard from since.

Police have issued no recent briefing on the investigation, and no confirmed leads into her whereabouts have emerged.

A possible connection between her disappearance and the nearby shooting of Jevon Clare was under investigation. That connection remains unresolved.

Earlier searches were carried out across the Belize and Cayo districts. A vehicle of interest was identified, according to police reports made by ASP Stacy Smith on April 7th. However, there has been no update provided on that.

Her family, who raised the reward for information to BZD $10,000, continues to wait.
