Iran Rejects Trump’s 15-Point Peace Plan to End the War

The United States has sent Iran a 15‑point proposal aimed at ending the conflict in the Middle East. According to U.S. and regional sources, the plan was delivered through Pakistan.

Iran’s response, however, has been sharply negative. State television quoted a senior official saying Tehran will not allow Washington to dictate the terms or timing of peace.

Instead, Iran laid out its own conditions. These include stopping what it calls U.S. and Israeli “aggression and assassinations”, and recognising Iran’s control over the Strait of Hormuz, a key route for global oil shipments.

Even as the proposal was delivered, President Donald Trump approved the deployment of more than 1,000 soldiers from the 82nd Airborne Division to the Middle East. NBC News reported the troops have not yet left the U.S. but could deploy in the coming days.

Iran’s parliament speaker, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, warned that the country is closely monitoring U.S. troop movements. “Do not test our resolve to defend our land,” he wrote in a social media post.
