Kes Lands in Belize Ahead of Soca and Culture Fest
Kes, the headline performer for the Belize Soca and Culture Fest, landed in Belize today ahead of what is expected to be a sold-out show at the Belize Civic Center. Fans are being urged to grab their tickets before the event reaches full capacity, promising a night of high-energy music and celebration of Belizean independence. Joining Kes from Belize will be Supa G and our Soca Queen Ernestine Carballo, who teased that fans could look forward to new music. From Canada, DJ Brandan Duke is set to bring his signature vibes to the stage. The annual Belize Soca and Culture Fest features a strong lineup and is dedicated to celebrating Belizean culture. Kes also gave a sneak peek at what attendees can expect from tomorrow’s performance.

“Every year is quite different, I feel. And I think as well, for myself, I haven’t been here for a little bit and, you know, it is always good to reconnect with Belize. And, you know, we have a few great songs out. The band’s doing well. So I’m just excited to jam with Belize. I don’t ever do one performance the same as the other, you know? So I feel like this year will be special, will be different, and 11 is a lucky number.”
