KHMH Board Boosts Staff Morale with Internal CEO Hire

After nearly five months without a permanent chief executive officer, Chief Financial Officer Sharine Reyes has been selected to lead Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital, bringing an end to a long search that followed the October fifteenth departure of former CEO Chandra Nisbet‑Cansino. During the vacancy, the country’s only tertiary-level public hospital operated under an interim management structure while the board evaluated a slate of five finalists. Those shortlisted candidates included assistant administrator and former acting CEO Timothy Seguro, former immigration C.E.O. Gilroy Middleton, labor administrator Ann‑Marie Thompson and medical practitioner Gilda Diaz-Hall.
