Late Sunday Night Motorcycle RTA Claims Police Officer’s Life

A late-night motorcycle crash on the Philip Goldson Highway in Belize City claimed the life of Police Constable Edwardo Cus on Sunday.

The crash happened shortly after 8 p.m., and Cus was thrown from his motorcycle, suffering fatal injuries.

Video footage from the scene shows Cus lying motionless on the ground. Emergency responders arrived and later transported his body to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
