Love Brewing at Amour Cafe: A Paris-Inspired Dream Comes to Belize

Do you love Coffee? Matcha? Or maybe just Teas? Well, Amour Café is the place to go. This morning on our Open Your Eyes morning show, we were delighted to welcome the passionate owners of Amour Café, Daniel Schakron and Shamra Palacio, who shared the heartfelt story behind their beautiful new venture.

Their journey began in the most romantic way, in the enchanting city of Paris, France. It was there that Daniel popped the question, creating a moment that would forever change their lives. But as they shared with us, that proposal marked more than just the start of their engagement. It symbolized the beginning of a shared dream, building a life and a successful business together.

While in Paris, Daniel and Shamra fell in love not only with each other all over again, but also with the charming café culture that fills the streets of the City of Light. The cozy corners, rich aromas of coffee, meaningful conversations, and relaxed lifestyle inspired them deeply. They knew they wanted to bring that same warmth, romance, and sense of community back home to Belize.

And so, Amour Café was born — a reflection of love, partnership, and ambition.

Joining them on the show was talented barista Deneesha Dougal, who treated us to a glimpse of their delicious signature matcha drinks. From vibrant flavors to beautifully crafted presentation, her creations are quickly becoming favorites among customers.

Daniel and Shamra are shining examples of young, driven entrepreneurs who are courageously pursuing their dreams together. Their story reminds us that love and business can blend beautifully when built on shared vision, determination, and heart.
