Man Charged Following Fatal RTA of Brian Miguel

William Aleman, 35, of Burrell Boom Village has been formally arrested and is facing multiple charges, including manslaughter by negligence, causing death by careless conduct, and driving without due care and attention.

Assistant Superintendent of Police Stacy Smith said the charges follow an investigation into a collision near miles forty and forty-one involving Aleman’s Ford F-150 pickup truck.

The incident happened on Saturday at about 3:30 p.m.

The crash left 24-year-old Brian Miguel, a farmer from St Matthews Village, dead at the scene after being flung several yards from his motorcycle.

When asked if any samples were taken, ASP Smith said “No sample was taken from Mr Aleman, as his conduct did not suggest anybody who was under the influence.”
