Man’s Decomposed Body Found Off Road in Orange Walk

Police are investigating the death of a man whose partially decomposed body was discovered off the road in San Felipe Village, Orange Walk District. The victim, identified as Omar Anibal Aguilar, was found in the bushes by a local farmer, who immediately contacted the police. Officers reported that the body showed visible injuries, raising concerns about the circumstances of his death. Many residents of San Felipe Village are expressing growing concern over safety, saying crime in the area appears to be rising sharply. Some locals worry that their village is beginning to resemble Belize City, where violent crime is more common.  So far, no further details regarding the cause or any potential suspects of this event have been released.
