Retired Fisherman Wins Mega Bingo Jackpot

A seventy-seven-year-old man from Belmopan is the latest Mega Bingo Jackpot winner. The retired fisherman won a grand total of five hundred and forty-one thousand dollars. In the end, he walked away with four hundred and sixty thousand dollars. We met him this afternoon in Belize City. Here is what he told us.

“It is a regular thing, two times of week I invest. When I check I lose I don’t give up, I continue. This time I found out I won. I will invest on my beach house, go back to fishing. That is what I use to do before going to America. I use to dive. Right here I had my boat where I dive conch, cray fish and lobster. I will finish my house in the beach front, in Barranco. I am in the beach front. I will also get my boat and engine. That is what I love, love the sea.”
