Minister Zabaneh Engages Muslim Leaders 

Minister of Religious Affairs Dr Louis Zabaneh met with leaders of Belize’s Muslim community on Friday to discuss their role in shaping government policy

According to a government-issued statement, the meeting focused on representation, dialogue, and ensuring faith-based communities are included in national decisions. Muslim leaders stressed the importance of consultation and mutual respect.

The ministry reaffirmed a commitment to managing Religious Affairs in a way that reflects Belize’s “diversity of beliefs” and keeps all religious groups engaged. It also addressed the need for transparency and stronger collaboration across faiths to promote understanding and inclusion.
