Missing Dangriga Delivery Man Found Dead

A 24-year-old delivery man from Dangriga who was reported missing earlier this week has been found dead in Silk Grass Village.

Steve Lewis disappeared on Tuesday morning after leaving home for what was believed to be a routine delivery run. He never returned.

His mother, Suceli Lewis, told News Five that on the day her son went missing, he received a phone call from a man in Dangriga who allegedly asked him for a ride to a farm in Silk Grass Village. That was the last time the family saw him.

A search party was later organised, leading to the grim discovery.

“We have a set of search teams that came out,” Suceli Lewis said. “One of my friends came through the back, and he said he smelt a scent, and he said he saw vultures. So he stopped. When he stopped the cycle, then he went direct to the ditch… like a lagoon-like drain.”

Lewis said the family believes her son may have been lured.

“Foul play. Based on footage, that’s why I tell you that’s foul play,” she said.
