Mother and Daughter Charged for Drug Possession

Police have arrested and charged 47‑year‑old Cheryl Charlene Garbutt and her 18‑year‑old daughter, Kailah Cheryl Bahadur, for possession of controlled drugs with intent to supply.

According to police, the charges follow the execution of a search warrant on Tuesday, February 3, at Garbutt’s residence on Cerro Road in Punta Gorda Town. Both women were present at the home at the time of the search.

During the search, police discovered a plastic bag containing 100 small foil‑wrapped parcels of crack cocaine, weighing a total of 15.5 grams.
