Motorcycle Slams Into Cyclist in Belize City

A late-night collision on Belize City’s Central American Boulevard has raised concerns after a motorcycle slammed into a bicycle near a police checkpoint.

The crash occurred shortly after 7 o’clock on Tuesday night and was caught on surveillance footage. The video shows a motorcycle racing past the checkpoint before striking a cyclist who was crossing lanes on the busy boulevard.

The impact sent both men to the ground. The motorcyclist slid along the pavement and was seen moving slightly.

Meanwhile, bystanders rushed toward the cyclist, who remained motionless on the ground.

The condition of the men is still unknown.
