Motorcyclist Killed in Armenia Collision

Police are investigating a fatal road traffic accident that claimed the life of a motorcyclist on Sunday in the village of Armenia.

Head of the National Crimes Investigation Branch, ACP Hilberto Romero, said officers responded to the scene shortly after the crash. “Upon arrival, they saw a Toyota pickup with damages. Also seen was a motorcycle extensively damaged,” Romero reported.

According to police, the pickup was driven by Glendy Rodriguez when it collided with a motorcycle entering the highway. The victim has been identified as Lazarus Chun. 

Romero confirmed that a urine sample was taken from the driver of the pickup as part of the investigation. “The matter is under investigation at this time,” he stated.

Police have served notice of intended prosecution to Rodriguez.
