NBB Warns of Fake Facebook Pages Targeting Customers

The National Bank of Belize (NBBL) is warning customers to be on high alert after discovering fake Facebook pages pretending to represent the bank.

In a statement on Tuesday, NBBL confirmed that the pages are completely unauthorised and have no link to the institution. The bank says the matter has already been reported to authorities and is actively working to have the fake pages removed.

Customers are urged not to share personal or financial information with these pages and to double-check any messages that seem suspicious. NBBL reminds the public that all official updates come only from its verified platforms.
