New School Year, New Look at Grace Primary School

Students at Grace Primary School are starting the school year in a completely revitalised classroom. Benny’s awarded a complete classroom makeover to teacher Kenisha Rhaburn, which included fresh paint, new furniture, and educational materials designed to inspire learning.

“It made my classroom environment a beautiful and comfortable one for my students and I hope it motivates them to want to learn,” Rhaburn said.

Benny’s Marketing Officer Ellen Borland detailed the improvements: “Our team came in to do all the labour, and what we did was cleaning and buffing the walls, and polishing and of course painting the floors. We did mural designs. We facilitated the teacher with charts that were needed for the classroom as well as floor fans because it’s really hot.”

Borland also said they provided exercise books and thirty-two locally made success charts for the classroom.

“I was just a follower on their Facebook page, and I entered the competition, and I am grateful that I am the first winner of a classroom makeover in Belize,” Rhaburn added.
