Nightclub Clash Lands ‘Horse’ Garnett Before Court
Forty-four year old Jermaine “Horse” Garnett is recovering at home after a weekend confrontation that landed him in court. Garnett was charged with two counts of aggravated assault against police officers following an incident at Shisha’s Night Club on May second. He pleaded not guilty and was granted bail of four thousand dollars, which he met. Garnett says he willingly left the club when instructed but claims things escalated outside, accusing officers of using excessive force. He alleges he was pushed and injured during the encounter and plans to file a formal complaint with the Professional Standards Branch.

Garnett is also calling on police to review surveillance footage, which he believes supports his account.
