No More Recommender Needed for Belize Passport

The Ministry of Immigration has officially removed the Recommender section from the Belize Passport Application Form, effective September 1, 2025.

A notice from the ministry says this is a broader effort to streamline services, reduce opportunities for fraud and corruption, and enhance the integrity of the passport issuance process.

With this change, applying for a Belizean passport is now simpler and more convenient. Applicants are no longer required to provide a Recommender, but must still submit all other necessary documents to ensure smooth and timely processing.
