PM Announces Eleven New Belizean Ambassadors

Today, Prime Minister John Briceño announced the appointment of eleven new Belizean ambassadors, ambassador designates and other Diplomatic Staff. Among the newly appointed are Alfonso Gahona, Ayesha Borland, Dr. Kenrick Williams. Lou-Anne Burns Martinez, Nestor Medez, Perlita Aldana, Henry Canton, Janine, Coye Felson, Joshua Pott, Katherine Meighan, and Luis Salazar. Several ambassadors remained from their previous appointments such as Jose Alpuche, Ambassador to the Republic of Guatemala and Oscar Arnold, Ambassador to the United Mexican States. The Ambassadors are currently in Belize participating in a three-day annual Heads of Mission Encounter at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and will be traveling to take up their assignments in the coming days. The appointments came into effect on August first.
