Police Bust Hattieville Couple with Drugs and Firearm
Police in Hattieville say a single search warrant pulled back the curtain on what may have been a dangerous stockpile. Officers searching a residence uncovered drugs, a loaded firearm, and several high‑capacity magazines, items they say pose a serious threat to community safety. The discovery led to the arrest of two young men from the village: twenty‑one‑year‑old Tajah Robateau and twenty‑five‑year‑old Kevan Joshua Franklyn. Both now face a range of serious charges, including drug trafficking and the illegal possession of a firearm and ammunition. Police say the bust is part of a broader push to disrupt criminal activity before it turns violent.

These charges follow police’s execution of a search warrant at a residence in Hattieville on Wednesday, first April, 2026, which led to the discovery of seven parcels of suspected cannabis weighing a total of 739 grams, along with a Glock nine-millimeter pistol with a magazine containing thirteen live rounds of nine-millimeter ammunition, as well as two nine-millimeter extended magazine. One of which contained thirteen live rounds of nine millimeter ammunition and the other seventeen live rounds of nine-millimeter ammunition.”
With weapons and drugs taken off the streets, officers describe the operation as a significant step toward tightening security and sending a clear message that illegal arms and narcotics will not be tolerated in the community.
