Police Concludes Investigation in Kevin De Paz Death

The investigation into the death of nineteen-year-old Kevin De Paz has officially concluded. You’ll recall, De Paz lost his life during a violent street brawl in Caye Caulker on June thirtieth, a confrontation that involved two off-duty police officers. He was stabbed multiple times and later died from his injuries. Surveillance footage shows the officers stepping in after a man was knocked unconscious by De Paz’s group. In total, five people were stabbed, and the officers claimed they acted in self-defense. Today, we asked the Commissioner of Police, Doctor Richard Rosado, for an update on the findings.
