Police Following Several Leads in Hattieville Double Murder
Police are still searching for answers in a shocking double murder that rocked Hattieville earlier this week. On Monday, the quiet community was left stunned when fifty-seven-year-old twins, Paul and Paula Esquilliano, were found shot to death. Family and neighbors say the siblings had no known enemies, leaving everyone baffled as to who could have done this, or why. Today, we asked Acting Commissioner of Police Bart Jones for an update on the investigation.

“The double murder in Hattieville, we’ve received reports that an SPU officer may be a suspect. Can you talk about that?
Bart Jones
“In respect to the double murder, there’s a team of police officers who are working on that specific case. We’re looking at all angles. Yes, there’s a police officer who is related or was related to the family that there are some information that people are saying. So we’re looking at every aspect in terms of that investigation. And we hope that we are able to update the media in the coming days on that particular investigation. But yes there is staff that that a police officer may be involved but there’s not concrete evidence that is sufficient that we’ll be able to charge anyone at this point, but we are working on that case.”
