Police Investigate Possible Retaliation Killing on Antelope Street
Just hours after a deadly ambush on Barrow and Card, Belize City was rocked by another shooting. Forty-three-year-old Moses Almendarez was gunned down near Antelope Street, becoming the latest victim in a weekend of violence. Almendarez, who had a notorious past dating back to his teens, spent fifteen years in prison but reportedly turned his life around after finding God. Police believe this latest attack may have been retaliation for the earlier shootings that same night.
