Police Investigate Sudden Death of 9-year-old Girl
A heartbreaking tragedy unfolded in Belize City over the weekend. A nine-year-old girl, Evadne Martinez, collapsed at a home near Linda Vista and Police Street late Saturday night. Despite frantic efforts to save her at the K.H.M.H., doctors couldn’t revive the child. Police have launched an investigation into his sudden death, and while we know she had a history of asthma, the exact cause remains unclear. A post-mortem is expected to provide answers.
