Police Say Bradley Lost Control of Vehicle in Fatal Accident
Just before one this morning, police were called to an area near Mile 61, where a devastating crash left a young man fighting for his life. When officers arrived, they found a white SUV extensively damaged, overturned off the roadway and beside it was twenty-nine-year-old Alexander Bradley of San Ignacio Town, critically injured. Bradley was rushed to the San Ignacio Hospital, but despite efforts to save him, he succumbed to his injuries just four hours later. Preliminary investigations suggest that Bradley lost control of the vehicle while navigating a curve, crashing into a street sign before the SUV flipped. Tonight, his death is yet another sobering reminder of how quickly things can turn fatal on the nation’s highways, especially late at night when roads are dark. Here’s ASP Stacy Smith with more on the circumstances surrounding the fatal crash.

“The investigation commenced on Wednesday, eight April, 2026, just before one o’ clock a.m. when police officers at the Georgeville Police Substation were advised of a traffic accident near Mile 61 on the George Price Highway. The officers responded and upon doing so, they observed a white SUV which was damaged and beside that SUV was an injured male person later learned to be twenty-nine-year-old Alexander Bradley of San Ignacio Town. Mr. Bradley was transported to the San Ignacio Hospital for medical attention; however, he succumbed to the injuries that he sustained some four hours later. What the investigation has pointed to thus far is that Mr. Bradley lost control of his vehicle upon approaching a curve in that area and collided into a street sign which caused the vehicle to overturn.”
