Prison Officer Charged for Rape Granted Bail

Oferico Ico, a 33-year-old prison officer, has been released on bail after being charged with raping a woman at her home in Lords Bank on August 20. The victim identified Ico as her attacker.

No plea was entered, but Hamilton requested bail, which the court granted. Bail was set at $5,000 with two sureties.

Ico appeared in court virtually, represented by attorney Hurl Hamilton. He is scheduled to return to court on October 10.
