Red Bank Collision Claims Motorcyclist’s Life  

A Saturday morning collision at the entrance to Red Bank Village has claimed the life of fifty-nine-year-old Nerry Campbell. Investigators say Campbell was turning into the village on his motorcycle when he collided with a pickup truck driven by thirty-year-old Deidra Jackson along the Thomas Vincent Ramos Highway. Medical teams rushed the Guatemalan laborer to the Southern Regional Hospital, but he died while undergoing surgery for multiple injuries. Police have served Jackson with a Notice of Intended Prosecution as the investigation continues. ASP Stacy Smith tells us more.

“Police have issued a notice of intended prosecution in connection with a traffic accident which resulted in the death of fifty-nine-year-old Nerry Campbell of Red Bank Village. What the investigation has so far suggested is that at around ten forty-five a.m. on Saturday, fifth September, Campbell was traveling on a Meilun brand motorcycle, and when he turned onto an unnamed road in Red Bank Village, a collision occurred between the motorcycle and a pickup truck being driven by the female who was the subject of the notice of intended prosecution. Mr. Campbell received injuries, and he was transported for medical attention. However, he succumbed whilst undergoing treatment at around one o’clock p.m.”

 

It is reported that the Campbell’s motorcycle did not have a license plate.
